Dmitri shook his head and placed his paw on Rae's back,trying to make sure she didn't fall over. "Ahoy there, matey" he called out as they neared the piano.

The numbat, Rahiq, lifted the bottle of wine to her lips and took a large swig of it. Wiping her lips with the bottom of her sleeve she looked up at the weasel, giving a slight nod in his direction as a response to his greeting. "Ello mate." She said, then gesturing towards the piano asked, "Do you play?"

"Oh no, I don't," Dmitri answered, still wondering how she was so sober, "We were just wonderin' which crew ye belong ter." He noticed a passing waitress and readched over to tap her on the shoulder. "Two shots o' whiskey" he ordered, then turned back around to face th numbat.

Rae nodded in agreement with Dmitri's statement. "Yeah, yeah, you gots ta join." She leaned toward the numbat and tried to whisper, but it came out a lot louder than she thought. "There ain't enough girls, ya know. All these stupid men, it's drivin' me mad!"

The waitress passed by and he grabbed the whiskey he had ordered, downing the first shot immediately.
